Natural light and stronger connections – Young cattle barn for Hans Skovgaard

When farmer Hans Skovgaard faced the expansion of his farm, he had no doubts: He wanted a barn that would benefit both him and the animals.

The choice fell on a new young cattle barn of 5,400 m² with our roof membrane, constructed in collaboration with several contractors. We delivered the steel structure and the roof membrane – and the solution speaks for itself.

The barn is open, bright, and well-designed. Natural daylight streams in and creates a barn where both people and animals thrive. As Hans himself says: “You get in a great mood when it’s so bright.”

But the project wasn’t just about mood. It was about consolidating production in one place. Previously, the animals were spread across several farms in the area – now everything is gathered in one modern barn, with optimal conditions for both operation and animal welfare.

Today, the project is part of Norcover’s reference portfolio, and we are proud to showcase it – with the full support of Hans Skovgaard himself.
